Dr. Eric J. Prather, DC, BS, DIANM, is a Board-Certified Specialist in Neuromusculoskeletal (NMSK) Medicine through the International Academy of Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine (IANM). He specializes in the diagnosis and non-surgical management of complex neuromusculoskeletal conditions, personal injury cases, and interdisciplinary care coordination.
Dr. Prather earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Parker College of Chiropractic (now Parker University) in Dallas, Texas, and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Anatomy. He has completed extensive postgraduate education in advanced spinal diagnosis, manual medicine, orthopedic rehabilitation, and evidence-informed management of spinal and extremity disorders.
His clinical practice focuses on the evaluation and management of conditions including spinal degeneration, disc disorders, spinal stenosis, whiplash injuries, headaches, osteoarthritis, and a broad range of acute and chronic pain syndromes. Treatment is individualized and may include physician-directed manual medicine, spinal and extremity manipulation, non-surgical spinal decompression, movement rehabilitation, proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation (PNF), pain neuroscience education, metabolic health education, and coordinated interdisciplinary care when appropriate.
In addition to his board certification, Dr. Prather has completed more than 200 hours of postgraduate training in the Gonstead System of Chiropractic, Functional Neurology, and is an ACE Certified Team Ring Dinger® Doctor, providing advanced manual spinal decompression for appropriately selected patients.
