Payment Information
We have a “Pay-As-You-Go” payment system, accepting only cash, credit/debit cards, in state personal checks and Care Credit.
Insurance & Payment Policy
Prather NMSK Medicine is a self-pay practice and does not participate with commercial health insurance plans or Medicare.
Our practice is dedicated to providing comprehensive neuromusculoskeletal evaluations and treatment based on clinical necessity—not the limitations imposed by insurance reimbursement policies. This allows us to spend the time necessary to accurately diagnose complex conditions and develop individualized treatment plans without restrictions on the type, duration, or frequency of care.
Patients with Medicare: Although many of the specialized services we provide are not covered by Medicare, we require payment at the time of service and do not submit claims to Medicare. Patients are responsible for all fees associated with their care.
Personal Injury Cases: We welcome patients who have been injured in motor vehicle collisions or other personal injury incidents. Financial arrangements for these cases may differ from our standard self-pay policy and will be discussed prior to the initiation of care.

Prather, a Vietnam War Veteran and former Intelligence Analyst and Staff Sergeant of the United States Air Force, Dr. Prather has the utmost admiration for our military veterans of all branches. For this reason, Dr. Prather offers a 20% discount to all veterans as well as all uniformed firefighters and our men and women in blue.
